Hoarse voice is diagnosed from history of your symptoms and a Nasal endoscope. Sometimes a CT scan or MRI of your neck may be necessary

Surgeries for Vocal Cord Problems

Surgery of the vocal cord is done by a technique call Microlaryngoscopy. This may be part of your investigation and treatment. Other surgeries of the vocal cords are,  vocal cord injection medialisation, thyroplasty etc

Microlaryngoscopy and removal vocal cord nodule

This is an endoscopic examination of the throat (Larynx and pharynx). It is done for the purpose of diagnoses and treatment for throat disorders

Vocal cord injection

This is a procedure done to augment a paralysed vocal cord. It can be done under a local anaesthesia or general anaesthesia

Thyroplasty

A surgical procedure to correct a paralysed vocal cord to improve voice quality
